Step 12Casino Status Match Travel Hack
Previously, I have gotten mixed feedback from individuals on whether or not the next couple of steps work in Las Vegas, N.V. when I originally created this post years ago. Since then, M life has changed their status match criteria and you can no longer match Caesars Diamond to MGM Rewards Gold in Atlantic City. As of now, if you have Caesars Diamond Plus, that will match to MGM Rewards Gold in Atlantic City, NJ.
There is a loophole however. The loophole is not free unfortunately and requires you to visit Las Vegas in order to get your MGM Rewards status match. The remaining steps for the casino matches in this guide are mostly associated with having MGM Rewards Gold Member Tier status. Feel free to skip these next steps, and go straight to car rentals status matching if casinos is not your thing.

Atlantic City, N.J. Casino Status Match

To get started on our status match for MGM, first, we need head on over to FoundersCard.com and get access to signup for their Elite Membership level.
- Standard Membership Cost: $595 Annually
- Elite Membership Cost: $995 Annually
Both membership levels have a one-time $95 initiation fee. Note, this is not a credit card. The annual membership fee is usually offset by substantial savings and benefits for travelers and business users, making the cost worth it for those who can utilize some of these elite perks.
The elite membership is what we are going to need in order to get the Wynn Rewards Platinum Status Level (second to highest level, which includes a complimentary Holland America Line cruise for two). May I also suggest requesting a physical Elite Member Founders Card which also looks really nice to have in your wallet and its free to request.

You do have to submit an application to sign up to become a member which takes a couple of days for their team to review to be approved.

I literally heard back from their team within 24 hours and got approved. Once approved you will receive an email to access your membership dashboard.

- Sixt Car Rentals - Platinum SIXT Status (Top Tier)

In your dashboard, navigate to the “Travel” tab and in the dropdown click on “Hotel Loyalty Status”. Once that page loads, find Wynn Rewards – Complimentary Wynn Rewards Platinum Tier. Click on the “Redeem Benefit” button and fill out all information on the next page has needed.

I submitted my Wynn Platinum upgrade request with Founders Card on April 20th, 2025. I immediately received an email from their member services team that I should expect the upgrade to be completed by May 2nd, 2025.
- It is important to point out that If your request is taking longer than two weeks to process, please reach out to your dedicated concierge team.

Important: Based on where your request is in the queue, you should receive the upgrade by May 2, 2025. When your upgrade is complete, you will receive a confirmation email from FoundersCard. At that point, your Wynn Rewards account will reflect Platinum Status.

Within 10 days I received an email stating my upgrade to Wynn Platinum Member Status in Las Vegas Nevada was approved.
Head on over to the Wynn Casino in Vegas and pick up your card first before performing the next couple of steps in this guide.
- Visit a Wynn Rewards enrollment kiosks or Wynn Rewards desk located on the casino floor to obtain your Wynn Platinum Card. You will need to present your valid government-issued photo identification.

Similar to the Caesars status match in our last step, it is important to to note, Wynn recognizes those who have served in the armed forces. Wynn Hero Tier is available to veterans, active military, healthcare workers, firefighters, and police officers.
Hero Program members receive a unique branded Wynn Rewards card that qualifies you as the cardholder some extra discounts and special benefits across all Wynn resorts. Some of the perks you can expect to receive with Wynn Hero Program are:
