Step 14World of Hyatt Hotel Status Match
M life Rewards to Hyatt Explorist Tier Match No Longer Available
Previously, Hyatt would allow M life Rewards members to tier match to their Explorist level. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case. There used to be a page on the Hyatt website in your account dashboard called “MGM Resorts International” (which can be seen in the screenshot to the right) which would allow you to start the process of the Hyatt Member tier match.
The only status match that Hyatt now offers is a 90 day challenge for employer’s of certain corporations until the end of the year. The 90 day challenge, if completed, would allow a member to keep their Hyatt Explorist status until February 2027.
If you are an employer and qualify under this status match, we outlined some steps below.

Be sure you are logged in to your Hyatt account and go to their Elite Trial Tier Offer Page. To receive your matched tier to Hyatt Explorist, enter your World of Hyatt Membership number, along with your company email and click register. If your corporation is part of the exclusive eligibility from Hyatt, then you should immediately receive the status match to Hyatt Explorist.
How the Hyatt Explorist Tier Match Works
- Register by December 31, 2025
- Enjoy Explorist status for 90 days. Trial period begins upon registration
- Stay 10 qualifying nights at any Hyatt hotel or resort within 90 days after registering to maintain Explorist status through February 2027
- Stay an additional 10 qualifying nights at any Hyatt hotel or resort within your original 90 days after registration and earn Globalist status through February 2027
- Bonus Points on qualifying purchases, Club Access or daily full breakfast, and more
- Members may only register for a trial tier offer from Hyatt Sales Force once every 3 years, and limit one registration per email address

Please note, the status match should be immediate in your Hyatt account.
